Beach season is finally over; tan lines will start to fade, bright yellow school buses will add congestion to the morning commute, the color of leaves will start to change, and just as they begin their descent to the ground you’ll be pulling out your favorite hoodie while you silently admit to yourself that that fall is here.

Slouchy hoodies, oversized scarves, and pumpkin spice flavored everything is just some of the best part of the colorful season. Here at Lionesse our favorite part of the autumn season is the new beauty trends. This season there are tons of fun and new lip and beauty trends, read on to find out which ones we like most!

Elongated Winged Liner
For those of you who’ve finally mastered the winged eyeliner technique, then it’s time to step your style game up a notch and give this fall trend a try. All you need to do is paint on a typical winged, or cat-eyed liner, and then pull the liner about one-half to three-quarters of an inch outward. This adds serious drama to your look as well as giving your beauty a new a and chic dimension.

Feathered Out Lashes
Fall is all about finding the perfect puffer jacket to keep you warm during the winter. This fall, puffed up and feathered out lashes are all the rage. Sure, long and full lashes have been in for a while now, but this time around the trend is slightly different. Instead of using a set of falsies to “put the finishing touch” on a makeup look, you’re going to apply a set of falsies, and that’s it. By keeping the rest of your makeup light and natural looking, you’re bringing all the attention to your eyes.

Vampire Kiss
Although a deep smoky eye, dark lip, and body-con dress make for the perfect last minute Halloween costume, fall holiday parties aren’t the only time to wear a dark lip this fall. Channel your inner vampires this fall by rocking ultra-dark shades of lipstick such as plum or burgundy.

Graphic Liner
If the winged liner isn’t your thing, maybe you’ll be interested in the new eyeliner patterns inspired by graphic art design. Rather than lining the waterline of your lashes, use the liner to outline your waterline by drawing a line the above section of your lower lid.

Glistening Gloss
That’s right, ladies, colorless hi-shine lip gloss is back! However, just because a sheer and shiny smoocher is back, doesn’t mean that matte lips are out – in fact, matte is still very much in. It just means you have a few more options when getting ready in the morning!

Fun Fluorescents
Any woman who spent her teen years in the 80’s knows how big hot hues and fun fluorescents were. Finally, electric shades have made a reappearance, this time in the beauty world. Whether you glide on some bright pink lipstick or some fluorescent fuchsia eye shadow, you’ll look fab this fall with vibrant colors.
