Belly dancing is believed to be one of the most beautiful dances in the world, for a good reason to! In fact not only is belly dancing a sensual, unique dance, but practicing the art of belly dancing has also been found to have amazing benefits. Benefit No. 1: Belly Dancing Actually Improves Memory!
When practicing belly dancing, and any form of dance really, they are enabling the healthy oxygenation of internal organs, including the brain; this means one’s mental alertness is sharpened and mental functioning is aroused. To further encourage memory improvement when practicing the art of belly dancing, it is recommended that the dancers challenge themselves by switching up their routine, creating new choreography, or attending a class which teaches a new or different style of belly dancing.
